We had our Wedding Reception at Antrobus House and we cannot recommend it enough! As a wedding photographer I've visited in the past for work and was so pleased to find it was available to host our wedding party! Catherine was incredible from start to finish. She listened to our ideas, helped bring our party to life and on the night made sure everything went just perfectly. From moving our selfie frame once the tables had been taken away and I don't think I ever saw an empty unused glass left on a table as she was so on the ball. The whole team at the Antrobus made our evening so special. The bar staff were the friendliest I've come across and even our families mentioned how impressed they were. Antrobus is not only perfect for photos but as a party location the rooms are perfect. A huge dancefloor, plenty of outdoor space and we even used the room upstairs as a kids corner! We cannot thank you enough, love from The Cooles xx

We held our wedding at Antrobus House and I couldn’t have wished for a better day. The venue was beautiful and just amazing for a wedding, and Catherine who helped to facilitate the day was perfectly perfect. Nothing was too much and the professionalism shown was beyond expectation. Any issues on the day are dealt with before I even noticed and Catherine had the most wonderful kind and organised nature which put me at ease throughout the planning stage and throughout our day. We had our wedding here earlier this month and the venue was beautiful. We had our ceremony upstairs in the Lady Florence Room and it was so lovely. Our evening reception and meal was held in the main hall and it was the perfect size. The use of the kitchen helped enormously and all staff were friendly and great. Catherine was amazing from start to finish. We had to postpone our wedding due to the pandemic and she was so accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble, and she was a godsend on the day! The grounds were lovely and I had great comments from our guests. I’m so glad we chose Antrobus house for our special day. Thank You! X

We attended a wedding here recently, organised by the wonderful Catherine! As guests we felt the day was ran so smoothly, from changing the plans to accommodate the weather to arranging the timings and catering to everyone’s needs. Antrobus House is a hidden gem and I would highly recommend planning your wedding or special event here. We held our wedding at the house in April 2022 and our experience was second to none. Nothing is ever too much for the staff and Trustees at Antrobus House - every little detail in the lead up to our day was thought of and made the day run smoothly and look fantastic! Catherine is phenomenal. No question is ever too small and from day one made us feel comfortable, making it all come together with absolutely no worries at all. We couldn’t have wished for a better service and our day wouldn’t have been the same without Catherine.

Where to even begin! From the first time we contacted Catherine, she has been so helpful, answering all of our (many) questions and being a professional through and through. She also recommended some of our other suppliers. She was so accommodating and it was clear how important it was to her that we had the wedding we dreamed of. The whole planning process was an absolute breeze because of her! Our day went off without a hitch at all, with Catherine running it seamlessly and liaising with our photographers, videographer and caterers to ensure we had the perfect day. She was the picture of calmness, going above and beyond - even taking a bridesmaid dress for a steam the morning of the wedding for us! She also helped organise some of our props the morning of the wedding whilst we were getting ready and really was just amazing. The house and gardens are stunning and it’s clear to see how much the staff all care about it and its customers. The bar staff were lovely and were on the ball the whole day and evening. We would thoroughly recommend booking an event here - you won’t find a more beautiful venue or better staff!

The most perfect place to book for your wedding! We had our Christmas Wedding at Antrobus House and it could not have been better. Get married upstairs in the Lady Florence Room and then downstairs to party! Such a gorgeous location with so many places for great photos. Catherine is so helpful and has a wealth of knowledge about weddings, in general, and service providers. Book with confidence!

I would highly recommend Antrobus House for any event, but especially for a wedding. I have been to the house for a wedding and it was so clean and tidy - it is more beautiful in person than in pictures, and the staff are all great, especially Catherine - always making sure you are OK and that your event is going as planned.  I can’t wait to book Antrobus House for my wedding in a few years. Not only is Antrobus House a beautiful venue with a stunning ceremony room and amazing front lawn, but the manager, Catherine, is simply incredible. Catherine helped us organise our wedding in 8 weeks, assisting us with pretty much everything! When the Covid rules changed and weddings opened up but not fully, Catherine worked with us to ensure we could host a perfect wedding for 30 day guests and 75 evening guests whilst keeping everyone safe. The day ran smoothly and the lawn was a proper sun trap, so the house looked awesome and everyone had the best day. The bar ran table service and were incredibly efficient, making sure everyone had drinks - I never had an empty glass thanks to the fantastic bar staff. I would hugely recommend this venue. It is amazing value for money, and with Catherine's help you will have nothing to worry about in making sure you have the perfect wedding day. Thank you for helping us have the perfect day!

What an amazing venue! We had such a lovely day at my Daughter Emma and Dan’s Wedding on Saturday 26/06/21. We were looked after so well and everybody worked so hard from the venue staff to the caterers.

Antrobus House hosted our wedding and it was simply the most amazing experience start to finish. The House is beautiful and well equipped. Catherine the Manager is just amazing, nothing was too much trouble and she helped us decorate, clear down and organise things we had forgotten or not thought of. The Bar suppliers were also fantastic and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Thank you to everyone who made the day go perfectly!

Antrobus House was recommended to us by our wedding caterer when he heard that we were struggling to find a venue that was well kept and affordable. We got in touch with the Manager and she showed us around the venue and was very warm and engaging. The building and grounds are lovely, clean and well kept. But the cherry on top is the brilliant and kind Catherine who manages AH. We trusted her experience and decided to book the venue for our wedding reception.  All communication was promptly responded to throughout the nearly 18 months it took us with wedding planning (pandemic causing havoc) and Catherine supported us through our wedding plans A, B and C! We gave Catherine the details of all the vendors who needed access to the venue and she made it all happen. She was hands-on with helping us decorate the venue the day before, and helped us with taking decorations down the day after. On the day we had the most fab time, the venue was decorated so beautifully, everything ran like clock work and all our guests had the most amazing day.

Amazing venue! We booked it for our wedding that unfortunately got postponed twice due to COVID so was 3rd time lucky! Catherine was a superstar. She looked after us from day one and made sure we had everything in place to make our day run smoothly, especially in these crazy times and having to ensure we were COVID secure. She really does go above and beyond. Such a beautiful venue and grounds, I cannot thank Catherine and the team enough. 

They were so helpful for us arranging a last minute change to our Daughter's wedding reception due to COVID rules. We were able to use the large Edmund Hall for 10 of us to have a socially-distanced sit down lunch. Catherine, the Business Manager, could not have been more kind and helpful. A beautiful venue. Totally recommend it!

Antrobus House was our first choice for our big day as it's sentimental to us having had many family wedding celebrations take place there over the years.  We were the first couple to legally be married at Antrobus House, since they obtained their licence, which gave us great honour.

From the first day of meeting Catherine, she made us feel very welcome and comfortable, planning every step with us, with a constant supply of information to help our choices about things we hadn't even thought of ourselves. With restrictions then taking place due to COVID this meant reorganising a lot of things including the date of the wedding and reducing our guest numbers.  This did not worry Catherine and she made sure we were kept updated.

There is nothing more that Catherine and the team could have done to make the day any more special than it was. We would highly recommend having a wedding or event at Antrobus House. The freshly refurbished house and well-maintained grounds just add to how lovely Antrobus House is as a whole.

Thank you and your team for an excellent evening celebrating our Diamond Wedding anniversary. The Antrobus House experience was very competitive, especially after the recent refurbishment. We had an amazing evening and the facilities were perfect for the occasion. Highly recommend this venue - it’s perfect in so many ways.  Reasonably priced for such a multi-use space, warm and dry and so well equipped. Outside space, weather permitting and car parking on site. It’s beautifully decorated and the facilities are excellent. Most of all Catherine and the team of dedicated Trustees cannot do enough to help you, before, during and after. Catherine has so many skills, highly-organised and always ready with ideas that will make your event flow smoothly. You will not be disappointed - book this venue and it will be the best decision you have made! 

We celebrated my mother’s 90th birthday at Antrobus House - it was fabulous. The facilities, standard of decor, and overall appearance was second to none. Catherine was on hand to give advice regarding seating, serving of food and generally any queries we had - a really helpful lovely lady. The room also came fully-equipped for us to have live music - so the party went with a swing!  I can fully recommend Antrobus House for any function.

Antrobus House is a stunning venue, inside and out. I held my 'Birthday Bottomless Brunch' here. In the planning/organising for the day Catherine was always on hand to answer any of our questions. She was so helpful and very accommodating for what we wanted. She helped us to set up ready for our party - nothing was too much of an ask. I think it’s a great venue for any type of gathering whether it's for a wedding, a birthday party or a ladies' brunch morning.

We booked Antrobus House for a works Christmas function... Catherine and the team were amazing at helping arrange and set up the venue. The venue is beautiful - would highly recommend for any function.

We cannot thank Catherine enough for all the lovely support she gave us whilst planning and hosting Hannah’s party! Going above and beyond with quick responses to queries leading up to the party, and then on the actual night helping us with decorating and setting up. Then as everyone left and we waited for our pre-booked taxi that did NOT turn up at midnight, she so very kindly took us home - something she didn’t have to do. The house is so stylishly decorated, with us not wanting to do much of our own, just leaving it in its splendour for our guests to see it. Having lived in the area for over 15 years but never having set foot into the house before, I would definitely 100% recommend it - for its grandeur and especially the personal touches that Catherine gave our experience there! Thank you again, it’s a party we won’t forget!

We cannot recommend this venue enough. We hired it for our wedding on 7th December 2019 and Catherine was incredible! She looked after us from beginning 'til end and made sure we had everything we could possibly want and more, and made the day run so smoothly we couldn’t believe it (she even put up the most beautiful Christmas trees). We had my daughter's Christening Party at Antrobus House. It was lovely. Such a nice space for all our guests and the outside space was perfect for the kiddies to have a run around and play some games. A massive thank you to Catherine who was brilliant with helping me organise things and be there for anything on the day. Wouldn’t hesitate to use this space again and recommend it to friends. A lovely day had by all.

Antrobus House Amesbury is such a special place! We celebrated our wedding here on that beautiful hot and sunny bank holiday weekend in August 2019. The space is so versatile - we couldn’t fault the facilities here, they offered everything we needed to host our party. From the moment we made our enquiry about booking Antrobus House for our event and right through to the day every person we had contact with was friendly, helpful and supportive. Catherine, their Business Manager, had us super organised and all of Catherine’s suggestions and recommendations were so spot on - her experience was invaluable in making everything come together. Stood inside those gates in the magnificent surroundings of Antrobus House, hosting our celebration was magical. We wouldn’t hesitate to do it again!

We booked Lady Antrobus House in early 2018 for our wedding on 22nd June 2019. The standard of communication, help, advice and assistance since Catherine has taken over is phenomenal. We went from being anxious bride and groom to-be, to organised, reassured and calm under the new management. It is clear that the current team are truly invested in making this wonderful venue the 'go to' place for events and parties. The hard work is evident in the transformation in the aesthetic of the building and gardens, the new website and social media presence. Lady Antrobus House and the team deserve every success for the future. An absolute hidden gem; all of our guests commented on the beauty of the house and gardens, the convenient location and the helpful staff. We would not hesitate to recommend this venue.

We held our wedding here on the 3rd August. All I can say is "Wow!". What a beautiful venue, run by amazing people. Catherine was such a great help from start to finish and ensured the smooth running of our day. All our guests were surprised and amazed by the venue. Thank you all so much for doing an amazing job.

We held our wedding here recently. Catherine went above and beyond to help me achieve what I had envisioned and then gave me even more ideas.  She was there at any moment we needed her even during set up the day before she was there grafting with us all, then after our reception her and her team helped clear and clean up. The venue is beautiful. The staff are highly efficient. I honestly couldn't have wished for a more welcoming, warm, friendly and grand location for our big day. It was simply perfect.

An efficient and very helpful manager who ensured a very happy occasion for my husband's party. Nothing was too much trouble. A beautiful venue and much enjoyed by our 60 guests. Magnificent new kitchen and loos.

We celebrated our Golden Wedding Anniversary at Antrobus House on 13th July. The Edmund Hall was just right and beautifully decorated for us. All the guests enjoyed the gardens, Catherine was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her. We would recommend this venue for any occasion in this lovely building.

10 years after being named prom King and Queen at the Antrobus House, we knew we had to hold our wedding reception back where it all began! Catherine was fantastic especially dealing with an anxious bride so close to the wedding. Since Catherine took charge with the business management, the organisation and communication has improved 100%. She helped me feel at ease during the whole process and even went above and beyond during a family matter on the day. I cannot thank Catherine enough for everything she did, on the run up to the wedding, during and afterwards! Catherine is fantastic at what she does and she definitely helped make our wedding day so special.

We had our little girl's 1st birthday at Antrobus House at the end of May. Perfect size, very classy and has been re-decorated beautifully. Gardens are delightful and staff very helpful! Prices aren't expensive either considering how popular it is. Would use again for another occasion and highly recommend.

You will be guided by the fabulously organised Catherine, as she assists you with your booking, helping you to bring your event together in this wonderfully historic house in Amesbury. The recent refurbishments and updates means Antrobus House has some great additions, with new facilities making it more versatile than ever.

We, The Friendly Tuesday Club, meet every Tuesday morning in this beautiful venue. Every facility is available to us and ready when we arrive - nothing is too much trouble. This beautiful house welcomes us with open arms and we feel privileged to have the opportunity to use it for our club. On behalf of the Friendly Tuesday Cub, without hesitation I thoroughly recommend Antrobus House.

I recently hired Antrobus House for a works meeting and they couldn't have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Everything we needed was laid out for us in advance. Communication was good before the event too. It's a beautiful building and it also has free parking. We will be back again. Highly recommended!

We, Ananda Flow Yoga, are thrilled to be back at Antrobus House! The upstairs room that we use each week for yoga is always clean, tidy and ready for use upon arrival. It is a fantastic space with plenty of room and light making it warm and welcoming. We are welcomed with a smile from staff each week and nothing is ever too much trouble. Communication via email is spot on with queries and questions always answered quickly and efficiently.

I am very impressed by Antrobus House and take FLexercise classes there every week.  It is a wonderful venue - clean, well run and very welcoming. We are very happy there and hope to continue using the venue well into the future.
